Lomandra came out of work on major Australian projects, where we saw the same thing on job after job. The community team, the workforce team and the industry team each kept their own records, in their own tools. At every stage the history was lost, and the commitments made in planning were hard to find in delivery.
We wanted one place for that work, built for how project teams actually run, and able to stay with a project from planning through to operations.
Engage, for community and stakeholder engagement: notices and alerts, enquiries, complaints, consultation and the stakeholder register.
Connect, a project website for the joint venture or project team: jobs from every partner, a talent pool, industry briefings and an area for subcontractors to post their own roles.
Impact, for workforce, local industry and environment targets: the targets that apply in each state, monthly returns from the whole supply chain, and reports that protect workers' privacy.
Each product stands on its own. We are building more for construction teams, shaped by what project teams tell us they keep working around.
We set each product up with you, load what you already have and train your team to run it day to day. If you want help along the way, maintenance and support is available by the hour from a skilled Australian-based professional.
Our Security page lists what is still on the way, not just what is finished. We would rather tell you what's coming than overstate what's there.
Every form asks for what the job needs. Personal details nobody needs are cleared on a schedule, and each project's privacy statement says where data is stored.
The same record runs from planning and design, through delivery and into operations, so nothing is lost when teams or stages change.
Lomandra is made by Ellery Studios Pty Ltd, an independent company based in Brisbane. We design and build the products here, and support comes from people in Australia.
Lomandra was founded by Emma Van Veluwen. Emma has spent more than 20 years on major projects across architecture, engineering and construction in Australia, the US and Europe, much of it in senior roles with tier-one contractors.
On job after job she watched community, workforce and industry teams rebuild the same records at every stage, and lose the promises made early. Lomandra is the tool she wanted on those projects.
